Jindalee Lithium’s (ASX:JLL) metallurgical testing has proved rewarding, demonstrating that beneficiated ore from its McDermitt project in Oregon is readily amendable to acid leaching – fantastic news for a company with a resource of 3Bt at 1,340 parts per million (ppm) for 21.5Mt lithium carbonate equivalent.

Manhattan Corporation (ASX:MHC) is looking to rejuvenate exploration of its Ponton uranium project northeast of Kalgoorlie, with ministerial consent being sought for further drilling of the contained Double 8 deposit.

Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) has announced resources and technology veteran Imants Kins is joining its board as a non-executive director. Kins headed Tantalum Australia in the early 2000s when it held the rights to the New Dawn lithium project which is now Torque’s flagship asset.

Osmond Resources (ASX:OSM) has joined the growing list of mining minnows to come screaming out of the woodwork with news about a uranium find, after the company undertook “a review of historical exploration results” for its South Australian Fowler project, which has identified “the potential for large-scale uranium (U3O8) mineralisation.

Some good news at last for forlorn EML Payments (ASX:EML) investors with the Ireland entrenched payments company sharing the news that it’s winding down its failed PFS Card Services Ireland business. EML says that PCSIL is now closed to new business and will be wound down in ‘a professional and orderly manner.’

Australian Vanadium’s (ASX:AVL)  official unveiling of its dedicated vanadium electrolyte facility in the northern Perth suburb of Wangara has been hailed as a “major milestone” along the company’s progress through its “pit to battery” strategy.

Ionic Rare Earths’ (ASX:IXR) push to drive development at its Makuutu heavy rare earths Project in Uganda has been given a solid boost by winning the award of the country’s first-ever Large Scale Mining Licence.

And Adavale (ASX:ADD) says that it has followed up on earlier findings of uranium present in historical rock chip data, help the company put the finishing touches on an exploration program across recently granted ground at Mundowdna and Mundowdna South.

Meanwhile, Pioneer Lithium’s (ASX:PLN) Benham project is shaping up to have a very bright future, as the project evolves alongside an epic set of neighbours, sitting just 70km from Critical Resources’ (ASX: CRR) Mavis Lake lithium project and wedged between Patriot Lithium’s (ASX:PAT) Dryden project and Canada-listed Beyond Lithium’s Victory and Victory West projects.
