Good morning, and welcome to Stockhead’s Top 10 at shortly-before-11-ish, to highlight the best (and sometimes worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data, to provide a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.
Provided I don’t sleep through my morning alarms, that is.
The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has started trading – for better or worse.
WINNERS
Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).
Roots Sustainable Agricultural Technologies (ASX:ROO) – Up handsomely early today on news of the successful completion of an equipment delivery via air shipping from Israel to the United Arab Emirates.
CuFe (ASX:CUF) – Up on news that it has signed a Port Licence Agreement with Fenix Resources (ASX:FEX) , making CuFe the foundation third party customer for Fenix’s port logistics business at Geraldton. Fenix is down 1.9% this morning.
Pure Resources (ASX:PR1) – Off to a blistering start this morning on news that the company is reporting “significant results from LIBS analysis up to 11.69% Lithium” from mica at its Järkvissle project in Sweden.
Arizona Lithium (ASX:AZL) – Up on news of receiving well licence approval for the initial lithium well at its Prarie project in the US.
Chariot Corporation (ASX:CC9) – Up on no fresh news, other than drills arriving at its Black Mountain project a few weeks back, so there could be some news out of Chariot in the coming days.
LOSERS
Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).
Avita Medical (ASX:AVH) – Down sharply after releasing updated 2023 guidance this morning, revising expectations down from $51-$53 million to a less happy $49.5-$50.5 million, blaming a slower-than-normal progress through a major customer’s Value Analysis Committee for the shortfall.
ReNu Energy (ASX:RNE) – The company delivered an investor presentation this morning, and fell nearly 9%.
CGN Resources (ASX:CGR) – Down on news that the company has completed its maiden drill hole at its Tantor project, intersecting multiple newly discovered ultramafic sills.
Adherium (ASX:ADR) – Down despite news that the first tranche of patients has been enrolled and remote patient monitoring underway as part of the commercial roll out of the company’s Hailie platform.
