On Melbourne Cup day the race that stops the nation has also slowed down announcements on the ASX this first Tuesday in November.
Junior explorer Mantle Minerals (ASX:MTL) says it has been granted Mt Berghaus exploration licence E45/5899, which covers 84km2 immediately north of the De Grey Mining (ASX:DEG) Hemi gold discovery in WA’s Pilbara region.

Lithium, gold and base metals exploration company Golden State Mining (ASX:GSM) has provided remaining drilling results for its air-core program conducted at Yule East (E45/5570) in the Pilbara which it says shows typical Archaean gold system features on the major structural corridor.
SensOre (ASX:S3N) joint-venture subsidiary Exploration Ventures AI Pty (EXAI) has inked a farm-in agreement with Firetail Resources (ASX:FTL) in partnership with German resource investment group Deutsche Rohstoff AG, on tenement E59/E2252, a part of the Firetail Yalgoo lithium project in WA.
