Special Report: Venture Minerals continues to demonstrate the scale and consistency of its Jupiter discovery with results from infill drilling confirming high-grade mineralisation over the entire 40km² target.
Venture Minerals (ASX:VMS) is maintaining momentum from a streak of impressive drilling results at its Jupiter clay-hosted rare earths project, west of Mount Magnet in WA.
In February, the company received its first batch of assay results from Stage 1 resource definition drilling which returned a record 48m at 3,025ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO).
That result is understood to the be the highest-grade clay hosted REE intersection ever for an Australian project, placing the company well above its peers in term of both grade and scale.
Since then, VMS has continued to hit a bout of encouraging results from Jupiter, including a 60m intersection grading above 2,000ppm.
‘Remarkable consistency’
New assays from aircore drilling at Jupiter continue to highlight “excellent continuity” between drillholes and confirm high-grade REE mineralisation over the entire 40km2 target.
Standout results include 16m at 3,526ppm TREO and 8m at 5,716ppm TREO.
“You know you’re on to a great project when you have to decide between headlining two stand-out, high-grade hits for the title,” VMS managing director Philippa Leggat says.
“While these individual results are incredible, the bigger picture is actually far more important.
“We are seeing remarkable consistency between drill holes over what is a very large mineralised system, which is a major win and a significant milestone for Jupiter.”

Assays pending
The last round of drilling, completed in April with 246 aircore holes drilled for a total of 14,370 metres, brings the drill density across the 40 km² area of Jupiter to a 500m by 250m spacing and provide meaningful data for a maiden resource.
Assays results from 104 holes are pending.
