Good morning, and welcome to Stockhead’s Top 10 at shortly-before-11-ish, which is meant to highlight the best (and sometimes worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data, to provide a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.
The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has started trading – for better or worse – and then I do my best to make sense of who’s moving where and why it might be happening.

Venture Minerals (ASX:VMS) has delivered a record drill hit at its large-scale, clay hosted Jupiter Rare Earths prospect in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, with the intercept measuring in at 48m @ 3,025ppm TREO, alongside assays up to 10,266ppm and 20,538ppm TREO from nearby holes.
AVA Risk Group (ASX:AVA) has signed a Telstra Supply Agreement with Telstra Group that will see the telco putting the company’s risk assessment tech to use. The deal follows 10 months of collaboration, with product trials with Telstra and its customers including monitoring the urban fibre network in metropolitan Melbourne and the subsea fibre cables in the Port of Darwin.
PNX Metals (ASX:PNX) is on the move again, following yesterday’s news of finding very high-grade uranium in the Lower Lode at its Thunderball project, after previously unreleased data from 2014 drilling was re-examined by the company, delivering intercepts like 15.0m @ 1.35% U3O8 from 210.0m, including 1.5m @ 10.2% U3O8 from 215.0m.
Connexion Mobility (ASX:CXZ) has dropped a banger with a half-yearly report this morning that shows the company has increased revenue to $4.74m (+126% over PCP) and Net Profit Before Tax of $1.09m (+251% over PCP), leaving the company with an operating cashflow of $1.37m, up a whopping +442% on PCP.
Novonix (ASX:NVX) is gaining weight this morning on news that it has signed a binding off-take agreement for high-performance synthetic graphite anode material to be supplied to Panasonic Energy’s North American operations from Novonix’s Riverside facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Booktopia Group (ASX:BKG) has slumped this morning, on news that the usually reliable festive season sales boom hasn’t quite eventuated, forcing the company to issue a revised forecast full-year earnings, now expected to be in the range of $1m to $3m, a downgrade on the previously forecast underlying EBITDA of $13.5m.
