WTF with DY6: Why rare earths have held strong in the New Year

Estimated read time 1 min read

What’s spurring dysprosium and terbium prices? Who will be the main players in the rare earths market in 2024? And are we seeing a supply and demand gap for these critical commodities?

DY6 Metals (ASX:DY6) CEO Lloyd Kaiser joins the Stockhead TV studio to investigate these questions and more.

“Over the past three-to-five years, we’ve seen buoyant prices for dysprosium and terbium,” Kaiser explained.

“Dysprosium, for example, has had prices in the range of $US300-400/kg.”

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Kaiser to learn more about the rare earths market and where it’s headed this year.
