Could Belararox’s TMT project in Argentina be home to the next large-scale porphyry copper deposit?

Fieldwork confirms porphyry style alteration and mineralisation across three targets at TMT
Samples have been collected and dispatched to the ALS laboratory to undergo multi-element assays and spectral analysis
Results indicate that the entire project area is conducive to potential large scale porphyry systems

Special Report: Fieldwork at Belararox’s Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) project in Argentina has progressed significantly with geochemical sampling programs indicating a total of 12 targets across the site.

Belararox (ASX:BRX) has confirmed porphyry style alteration and mineralisation at three targets (Toro North, Toro Central and Toro South) within the TMT project, which is consistent with the company’s satellite imagery interpretation.

Based on the recently completed fieldwork, 12 targets now exist at the project with all surface samples now collected across three of those, assisting in the delineation of metal-zoning in three dimensions as well as targeting of potential centres of copper-gold mineralisation.

BRX says anaconda mapping has progressed to completion over both the Toro North and Toro south targets while only 30% complete at Toro Central.

‘Conducive to potential large-scale porphyry systems’

“Exploration results to date have delivered outstanding results and indicates that the entire project area is conducive to potential large scale porphyry systems,” Belararox’s managing director Arvind Misra says.

“Geochemical sampling results of outcrop and colluvium are due soon at the Toro North, Toro Central, and Toro South targets which we anticipate will identify drill target areas.”

Samples have been dispatched to ALS Laboratory where they will undergo multi element assay and spectral analysis.

This work will assist in planning the drilling program which will take place later this year.
