Long Shortz with GTI Energy: A buffalo stampede on the uranium front

Estimated read time 1 min read

The new year is off to a bang for the uranium bulls as the spot price broke through the US$100/lb benchmark for the first time since 2007. Wyoming-based yellowcake player GTI Energy has positioned itself to ride the wave of a positive uranium sentiment after making a key appointment.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with GTI Energy (ASX:GTR) executive director Bruce Lane to get the short end of the long story on the company’s latest announcement.

Earlier this month, GTI Energy appointed experienced Denver-based ISR uranium technical and executive leader Matt Hartmann as President of US operations.

The company is currently preparing to upgrade the resources at its Lo Herma ISR project in Wyoming.

Tune in to hear GTI Energy’s Bruce Lane on why Hartmann is the right man for the job, what’s in store for yellowcake enjoyers this year and more.
