Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Australian Mines (ASX:AUZ) CEO Andrew Nesbitt to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

Nesbitt took his role in the big chair at AUZ in September and is eager to progress the company’s new projects in Brazil, including the Resende lithium project where exploration kicked off in December.

“The acquisitions of the two projects in Brazil…are obviously the highlights of the year for Australian Mines,” Nesbitt said.

“[Resende] is 17km from a producer that has been in production for 45 years and still, even today, they are increasing production to 130,000t of spodumene per annum.”

Tune in to hear what’s coming up for Australian Mines in 2024.
