What’s in store for 2024: Lithium Energy

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Lithium Energy (ASX:LEL) executive chairman William Johnson to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

At the Solaroz lithium brine project in Argentina, Johnson says the focus in 2023 was all about upgrading the resource to 3.3Mt of lithium carbonate equivalent.

“To put that into context, 3.3Mt contains the same amount of lithium as 100Mt of spodumene grading 1.3% so this is a very substantial asset that we have defined,” he says.

“Following on from that we then completed a scoping study on the project and the results of that were very, very successful.”

Tune in to hear what’s coming up for Lithium Energy in 2024.
