Two round trips today, which I have to say were very boring.
In fact the market is very boring today.
Small movements, as expected, with Xmas shopping ahead of school holidays.
Beach nice. Market not so.
Up $140, thanks to a small surge in BH(yawn)P!

Everything is on a tear upwards today and had some lower limit orders in but they never really touched the sides.
Managed to get back into BHP at where they closed yesterday, as they were the only one really lagging behind the rest of the market.
Things like CBA had a range of $109.65 to $110.89 and RIOs $133.08 to $134.24 and once CBA rebroke through the $110 level, they were away and never looked back.
Up $220.

Wednesday December 20
With the market open for 10 mins and taking yesterday’s lead, I go on what I can only describe as a shopping spree at the Boxing Day sales.
Five buys in a row, bang bang bang gets me long and then everything lines up to some great profits and even though I miss that in WDS, am happy to cut them and then I have no more watching to do.
Later in the afternoon, as I awake from an afternoon nap, WTC pops up as a ‘gone into a dive from the high board’. Amazing. Just had to have a go and after 10 mins or so, I’m out.
Plus $1,380, which was totally unexpected today, after the last two days’ efforts.

Four more days till Christmas day and today was a running around day for me. Just so happened to be checking prices and WTC did it again.
A big fall in a rapid amount of time just stood out from everything else and though they continued to fall, eventually they righted themselves and bounced OK.
Again volumes are getting low, as is my interest and tomorrow being the last trading day, not sure what will happen but presuming, not much.
Plus $210. Ho, Ho, Ho!

Friday December 22
I really thought BHP may go through the $50 barrier level today. Their high was bang on $50 and having got stuck into some, I had them in at a $50.10 limit.
Also got some CBA as I thought they would go back up to the $111 levels of yesterday.
However, I needn’t have really bothered as my manic child came through with a $1.98 turn for me and after that I just sold out of the BHP and CBA and stopped watching my phone.
When I did come back for a sneak peak, I could see RRL had been to $1.22 so at $1.165 they looked good to me.
Put them back on at $1.18 and eventually they got taken out. Not a bad end to the week, up $1,442, which comes in at $3,392 gross or $2,947 net.
See you all on the other side of Christmas day. Enjoy.
