Special Report: In a major strategic leap forward, Perth-based SaaS company InteliCare Holdings (ASX:ICR) has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider Bolton Clarke.

A key player in the aged, disability and healthcare sectors, InteliCare’s AI-driven care platform allows carers and care providers to track activity levels, patterns of behaviour, health metrics, sleep and more, helping to detect changes and enabling care providers to deliver care proactively, preventing deterioration, reducing incidents and optimising care outcomes.

Bolton Clarke operates 88 residential aged care homes and 38 retirement villages across the country and serves more than 130,000 clients through its community care programs.

Under the MOU, InteliCare’s platform will be implemented through selected Bolton Clarke sites and services where it will be assessed and then, in collaboration with InteliCare, enhanced and tailored to meet the requirements of each environment.

Bolton Clarke’s chief digital and innovation officer, Johny Agotnes, highlighted the significant avenues for mutual advancement the partnership provided for both companies.

There is immense opportunity in leveraging technology to improve aged care service delivery in Australia and this initial work and potential future partnership will hopefully unlock some of these opportunities to the benefit of all Australians,” he said.

Intelicare CEO Daniel Pilbrow also expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement and the invaluable insights it would bring to further refine and improve the company’s solution.

“The ability to partner with Bolton Clarke to both prove out our B2B strategic focus, as well as work together to envision, design and develop the InteliCare solution with a large industry participant will provide the company with invaluable learnings for its offerings,” he said.

“It’s also important for our commercialisation strategy as we continue to refine and develop our commercial offering and delivery for larger partners like Bolton Clarke.”

This collaboration serves as a stepping stone to a potentially game-changing strategic partnership agreement, marking a significant advancement in InteliCare’s strategic direction.

The company shifted its focus towards B2B engagement earlier this year and has since formed pivotal partnerships, including with the prestigious Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre which marked the company’s entrance into the lucrative remote patient monitoring sector.
