Dateline Resources has received the final results from diamond hole CM24-16 which have increased the intercept from 88m to 104.7m
\nThe final results from the RC program have also been returned, with significant results including 7m @ 4.27g\/t Au from 77.72m

Special report: Impressive gold hits continue to trickle in from drilling at the Colosseum gold mine in California as Dateline prepares an imminent resource update. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dateline\u2019s (ASX:DTR)<\/a> +<\/strong>800,000oz Colosseum gold project in southern California\u2019s Walker Lane Trend is down the road from multiple substantial discoveries including Equinox Gold\u2019s 5.5Moz Castle Mountain gold mine.<\/p>\n

DTR is looking to expand this resource with a combined diamond-reverse circulation (RC) in-fill and extensional drilling campaign.<\/p>\n

So far, the program has uncovered monster hits including 76.2m at 8.62 g\/t gold and the more recent 70.1m at 6.53 g\/t.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Final diamond and RC drilling results <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Diamond drill hole CM24-16 was first reported in April 2024, with assays returned for the upper portion of the hole (88m @ 4.18g\/t Au).<\/p>\n

The hole was extended to ensure that it finished outside of the sedimentary breccia, with recent assays extending the intersection to 104.7m at 3.65g\/t Au.<\/p>\n

Following a scheduled break, the drill crews returned to site and continued drilling within the south pit at Colosseum with diamond drill results including:<\/p>\n

104.7m at 3.65 g\/t gold from 77.23m, including 12.2m at 8.40 g\/t gold from 108.81m; and
\n12.8m at 2.18 g\/t gold from 208.17m.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, RC drilling has returned results such as:<\/p>\n

25.9m at 1.91 g\/t gold from 57.91m, including 3.05m at 3.05 g\/t gold from 57m;
\n74.7m @ 4.27g\/t Au from 77.72m, including 27.4m @ 7.82g\/t Au from 88.39m
\n3.05m at 2.95 g\/t gold from 94.48m.<\/p>\n

\u2018Moving quickly to determine mine plan\u2019 <\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cThese drill hole results are further confirmation that the Colosseum project has delivered consistent gold grades in a wide zone,\u201d DTR managing director Stephen Baghdadi says.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the updated MRE expected in the next few weeks, we plan to move quickly to determining a mine plan to extract value for our shareholders.\u201d<\/p>\n

Results since project was acquired in \u201921 included in resource <\/strong><\/h2>\n

DTR has engaged H&SC Consultants Pty Ltd to update the resource for the Colosseum gold deposit, which will include all the diamond drilling undertaken by the company since the project was acquired in 2021.<\/p>\n

Results for the recent RC drilling were received after the cut-off date for the resource and will be incorporated into a further update later in 2024, which will also include any diamond and RC results completed during the next 4-6 months.<\/p>\n
