Ternera is located within the company\u2019s El Zorro Project in Chile.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/tesoro-gold-tso\/\"><strong>Tesoro Gold (ASX:TSO)<\/strong><\/a> has already completed more than 100,000m of drilling at El Zorro \u2013 enough to define the resources at Ternera, it also believes that it has only just scratched the surface.<\/p>\n<p>IRG systems are geologically renowned for their multi-million ounce scale and Tier 1 asset potential such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/de-grey-mining-deg\/\"><strong>De Grey\u2019s (ASX:DEG<\/strong><\/a>) 10.5Moz Hemi discovery in WA\u2019s Pilbara region, which accounts for the company\u2019s confidence that it can develop a district-scale mining project.<\/p>\n<p>Ternera itself is open at depth and along strike with the company believing that it could connect with the Drone Hill target 700m to the northwest.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, TSO has identified targets with all the same ingredients as Ternera throughout the district.Successful exploration could pave the way for the company to <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/emerging-chilean-explorer-tesoro-gold-on-the-cusp-of-proving-a-100kozpa-operation-at-el-zorro\/\"><strong>develop a 150,000-200,000oz operation<\/strong><\/a> with a mine life of a decade or more.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The El Zorro gold district map in Chile. Pic: Tesoro gold<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Real gold potential outlined<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>TSO has secured further evidence that its priority targets could deliver gold in spades after continuous channel sampling returned the 20m at 0.52g\/t gold result, which includes a higher-grade zone of 9m at 1.01g\/t gold, at Buzzard.<\/p>\n<p>It adds to previous channel sampling that returned results such as 26m at 1.62g\/t gold including 8m at 3.08g\/t gold, 6m at 7.06g\/t gold and 3m at 5.23g\/t gold.<\/p>\n<p>This gold mineralisation is also adjacent to the district-scale Dorado Fault.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Map of near deposit gold targets requiring drill testing, showcasing Buzzard, the Dorado Fault, and more.
