Augustus Minerals (ASX:AUG)<\/a> is rocketing early after recent reconnaissance mapping and sampling at the Ti-Tree Project, 200km east of Carnarvon in Western Australia returned returned strong results.<\/p>\n

The mapping, supported by 26 rock chip samples, identified two areas containing mineralised veins and historic workings. Tiberius, the northern target, comprises a quartz-sulphide vein system up to 3m wide and outcrops for over 200m. Rock chip sampling at Claudius returned strong copper mineralisation in an iron rich siliceous vein. Silver was consistently elevated (up to 86g\/t) with associated gold anomalism to 0.68g\/t.<\/p>\n

Up over 120% in the first half hour of trade is the Australian-Singaporean regenerative medicine company Osteopore (ASX:OSX)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

OSX popped big on news of the start of first-in-human clinical trials for knee preservation in Singapore, where the medtech specialises in \u201c3D-printed biomimetic and bioresorbable\u201d implants. Its first patient was treated for knee preservation with Heparan Sulphate 3 (HS3) and aXOpore via a High Tibial Osteotomy (HTO) at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore.<\/p>\n

The first-in-human clinical trials comes on the back of the signing of two non-binding term sheets on 14 April 2023 with Accelerate Technologies to commercialise groundbreaking technology that accelerates bone and tissue regeneration.<\/p>\n

Cyclone Metals (ASX:CLE)<\/a> returned to the bourse with results of Phase 1 of the pilot plant test work for its flagship magnetite Iron Bear project. And the bourse liked what it saw. It also popped a quick 50% with $50k shares trading hands early on excitable quotes from CEO Paul Berend such as this:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first phase of the pilot test work confirms the exceptional metallurgical properties of the Iron Bear deposit. We were able to produce one of the highest quality magnetite concentrates in the world with very high yields in an industrial setting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are now in a position to supply ultra\u2013high quality iron ore product samples to steel mills and trading houses , and then start offtake\/JV discussions. These are exciting times.\u201d<\/p>\n

500kg of source sediment processed in a small-scale pilot plant returned a grading of 29.1% total Fe, and production of Direct Reduction concentrate grading 71.3% Fe and 1.1% SiO2 with a total magnetic Fe yield of 85.1%.<\/p>\n

Direct Reduction concentrate is critical to enable large scale green steel production.<\/p>\n

And Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8)<\/a> is up after exploration targeting began at its Bleiberg Zinc-Germanium Project in Austria. It announced \u201csenior geologists\u201d had returned from Austria, \u201cwhere they successfully accessed, collated and digitised over 100 years of historic mining data from the Bleiberg Zinc-Lead-Germanium Mine\u201d.<\/p>\n

At time of its closure, the Bleiberg mine was the sixth largest producer of germanium globally and one of the largest outside of China.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough not historically produced at Bleiberg, gallium mineralisation has also been identified in the historical workings, with grades ranging between 90-110g\/t,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n
