{"id":8643,"date":"2024-04-22T05:24:51","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T05:24:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8643"},"modified":"2024-04-22T05:24:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T05:24:51","slug":"pure-hydrogen-marks-entry-into-south-australia-with-sales-contract-for-hydrogen-waste-collection-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8643","title":{"rendered":"Pure Hydrogen marks entry into South Australia with sales contract for hydrogen waste collection vehicle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pure Hydrogen signs sales agreement with Solo Resource Recovery for hydrogen fuel cell waste collection truck<br \/>\nVehicle to be deployed in West Torrens, marking Pure Hydrogen\u2019s entry into South Australia<br \/>\nExpected to generate additional revenue, following recent sales of electric mini-buses in NSW<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: Clean energy business Pure Hydrogen has announced the execution of a sales agreement with Solo Resource Recovery for a Hydrogen Fuel Cell (HFC) waste collection truck, marking the company\u2019s first foray into the South Australian market. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The latest sale agreement follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/energy\/pure-hydrogen-marks-first-revenue-from-vehicle-sales-with-delivery-of-electric-mini-buses-to-sapphire-coast-buslines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>successful delivery of two electric mini-buses<\/strong><\/a> to Sapphire Coast Buslines in NSW, as Pure Hydrogen executes on its strategy to become a leading provider of zero-emissions solutions for the heavy vehicles sector across Australia.<\/p>\n<p>As well as emitting zero CO2 emissions, hydrogen vehicles deliver a number of key advantages in the waste management sector \u2013 most notably that they are significantly quieter than incumbent trucks in the market which results in less disruption.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle is expected to contribute to a growing revenue profile for PH2 following recent successes in the clean-energy vehicle market.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Image 1: Solo general waste collection truck to be delivered in 2024<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bursting into South Australia<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/pure-hydrogen-corporation-ph2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Pure Hydrogen (ASX: PH2)<\/strong><\/a> has secured a sales agreement with Solo Resource Recovery for a hydrogen fuel cell waste collection truck as part of its services to councils.<\/p>\n<p>The sales agreement entails the supply of a rear-loading HFC waste collection truck to Solo, which will serve the City of West Torrens Council aligning with the council\u2019s strategy to adopt clean energy solutions for waste management services.<\/p>\n<p>The sale agreement follows an extensive period of collaboration between Pure Hydrogen and Solo which remains ongoing, with advanced product testing now nearing completion.<\/p>\n<p>Solo Resource Recovery, a leading waste management company, is conducting a separate trial in NSW for a side-loader HFC waste collection truck.<\/p>\n<p>PH2 MD Scott Brown says the latest sale agreement underscores the momentum Pure Hydrogen is gaining in Australia\u2019s heavy vehicle industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis latest sale agreement further demonstrates the ongoing traction Pure Hydrogen is building for its market-leading suite of hydrogen and electric vehicles for Australia\u2019s heavy vehicle industry,\u201d Brown says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also applaud the City of West Torrens\u2019 commitment to spearheading clean energy solutions for council services such as waste collection and look forward to working with our partners on vehicle deployment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>City Of West Torrens Mayor Michael Coxon said the agreement aligns with the Council\u2019s stated strategy to provide core services with a focus on sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe delivery of the first hydrogen fuelled waste truck for our waste contractor, Solo, is a positive step forward;
