{"id":8358,"date":"2024-04-17T01:46:59","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T01:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8358"},"modified":"2024-04-17T01:46:59","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T01:46:59","slug":"louie-louie-latest-drilling-results-fuel-excitement-over-large-gold-anomaly-as-bpm-minerals-sharpens-focus-on-electrifying-prospect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8358","title":{"rendered":"Louie, Louie: Latest drilling results fuel excitement over large gold anomaly as BPM Minerals sharpens focus on electrifying prospect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aircore drilling has delineated a large gold anomaly at BPM Minerals\u2019 Claw project<br \/>\nThis paves the way for RC drill testing of the primary mineralisation zone<br \/>\nPhase 2 RC drill permitting has begun with plans for a program to be carried out mid-year <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special report:<\/em> Aircore drilling results at BPM Minerals\u2019 Claw project in WA have delineated a substantial +1km long, +100ppm gold anomaly, immediately along strike from Capricorn Metals\u2019 3.24Moz Mt Gibson gold project. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/bpm-minerals-bpm\/\">BPM Minerals\u2019 (ASX:BPM)<\/a> newly defined gold in regolith anomaly at the Louie prospect sits on the tenement boundary just across from Capricorn Metals\u2019 (ASX:CMM) high-grade 16m at 17.16 g\/t gold discovery at Sundance.<\/p>\n<p>Sundance is part of CMM\u2019s wider Mt Gibson gold project in WA\u2019s Murchison region, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/gold-is-at-all-time-highs-but-bullion-and-equities-have-never-been-so-disconnected-experts-think-the-gap-will-close\/\">mothballed +30 years ago<\/a> when the gold price fell below US$450\/oz.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/monsters-of-rock-gold-equities-baffle-against-rising-bullion-as-reporting-season-begins\/\">Australian dollar gold prices are now up over $3725\/oz<\/a>, a 20%+ increase YTD, and in touching distance of US$2400\/oz, making the pathway towards mine development more feasible.<\/p>\n<p>BPM believes the anomaly has every chance of developing into an economic discovery with deeper reverse circulation drilling targeting the underlying primary mineralisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>12 holes containing +100ppb <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Aircore drill holes were drilled at the end of the recently completed program, adjacent to the previously announced anomalous holes, to help constrain the anomaly for deeper RC drilling.<\/p>\n<p>BPM says these additional holes, as well as the re-sampling and assaying of anomalous composite samples, has further constrained the gold anomaly, confirming a coherent +1,000m long, +100ppb gold in regolith anomaly.<\/p>\n<p>The trend consists of 12 holes containing mineralisation +100ppb, including:<\/p>\n<p>1m at 0.51ppm gold from 42m<br \/>\n16m at 0.31ppm gold from 18m, including 1m at 1.08ppm gold from 27m<br \/>\n26m at 0.18ppm gold from 31m; and,<br \/>\n3m at 0.47ppm gold from 35m.<\/p>\n<p>Environmental and heritage surveys have been scheduled for May\/June with BPM expecting to be on ground mid-year to undertake the Phase 2 RC drilling program.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u2018Eager to unearth further mineralisation\u2019 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re incredibly encouraged by these results from Louie, we have a large coherent gold anomaly that requires testing,\u201d BPM CEO Oliver Judd says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis validation fuels our excitement as we embark on designing the next phase of drilling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re eager to unearth further mineralisation and deepen our understanding of Louie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This article was developed in collaboration with BPM Minerals, a Stockhead advertiser at the time of publishing. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This article does not constitute financial product advice.
