{"id":8226,"date":"2024-04-11T03:51:58","date_gmt":"2024-04-11T03:51:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8226"},"modified":"2024-04-11T03:51:58","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T03:51:58","slug":"more-high-grade-gold-hits-affirm-toubanis-2-4moz-scale-potential","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=8226","title":{"rendered":"More high-grade gold hits affirm Toubani\u2019s 2.4Moz scale potential"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>High-grade gold hits of up to 55.9g\/t near surface intersected<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>10,000m resource definition drilling program ongoing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Results to inform an update of the 2.4Moz resource estimate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: A resource definition drill program to upgrade resource confidence has turned up high-grade gold oxides at Toubani Resources\u2019 2.4Moz Kobada gold project in Mali, with hits of up to 55.9g\/t near surface.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On its way to increasing confidence in future resource estimations, fresh results from <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/toubani-resources-tre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Toubani Resources (ASX:TRE)<\/strong><\/a> drilling have further confirmed that most of the resource is a predominantly free-dig, oxide gold development with low all-in sustaining costs (AISC) once in production.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/toubani-confirms-kobadas-low-cost-high-yield-shallow-gold-oxide-credentials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recent definitive feasibility study (DFS) update<\/strong><\/a> confirmed Kobada\u2019s credentials, with high recovery rates underpinned by a 4.5km-long, shallow open pit deposit.<\/p>\n<p>Contained within the current 2.4Moz resource is a 1.48Moz area of gold mineralisation within 100m of the surface, which the explorer is currently looking to improve.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>More high-grade gold from definition drilling <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>TRE\u2019s ongoing 10,000m resource definition program at Kobada recently showed a <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/toubani-resources-strikes-spectacular-71m-at-1-86g-t-gold-intersection-from-resource-defining-exploration-at-kobada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>huge 71m-thick intersection at 1.86g\/t gold<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The latest batch of results, the explorer says, further affirms the deposit\u2019s large-scale, high-grade oxide mineralisation and will inform an update to the mineral resource this quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Assays returned more high-grade gold intersections, which of note include:<\/p>\n<p>27m at 1.23g\/t gold from 71m and 21m at 2.97g\/t gold from 105m at hole KBRC24_035, including 10m at 4.37g\/t gold; and,<br \/>\n7m at 11.0g\/t gold from 17m at hole KBRC24_032, including 1m at a whopping 55.9g\/t gold.<\/p>\n<p>To-date, 91 drill holes have been completed across 9309m of drilling with the program expected to wrap shortly.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Recent drill results from resource definition at the Kobada gold project.
