{"id":7961,"date":"2024-04-04T03:17:16","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T03:17:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7961"},"modified":"2024-04-04T03:17:16","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T03:17:16","slug":"allan-kellys-miramar-resources-raising-1-7m-to-wheel-into-bangemall-and-gidji-exploration-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7961","title":{"rendered":"Allan Kelly\u2019s Miramar Resources raising $1.7m to wheel into Bangemall and Gidji exploration projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>$1.7m to be raised through a share placement and rights issue<br \/>\nFunds to be used for maiden drilling at Bangemall and exploration at Gidji<br \/>\nBangemall potentially contains Norilsk-style nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE mineralisation<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: WA-focused Miramar Resources will raise approximately $1.7m to progress exploration work as it looks to prove up critical minerals and gold deposits at its Bangemall and Gidji projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/miramar-resources-m2r\/\"><strong>Miramar Resources (ASX:M2R)<\/strong><\/a> is under the stewardship of executive chair Allan Kelly, a 25-year mining veteran who successfully listed gold miner Doray Minerals.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly received the 2014 \u201cProspector Award\u201d for the discovery of the high-grade Wilber Lode deposit at the company\u2019s Andy Well project, which was named \u201cAustralian Mine of the Year\u201d the following year.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly is looking to repeat his success at M2R, with a new $1.7m capital raise to fund exploration at the Bangemall nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE project area in the Gascoyne region and the company\u2019s 80%-owned Gidji gold project in the WA Goldfields.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>M2R\u2019s project locations in WA. Pic supplied: (M2R)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the capital raise, M2R has received firm commitments for a $546,600 share placement to sophisticated investors with the remainder raised through a non-renounceable rights issue.<\/p>\n<p>45,550,719 shares will be issued at 1.2c per share, a 23.1% discount to the 15-day VWAP of 1.6c in two tranches for the placement, and the company intends to raise about $1.2m through a pro-rata rights issue of one share for every two held by eligible investors.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Targets at Bangemall<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>M2R is searching for Norilsk-style nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE mineralisation at Bangemall and recently tested five targets at the \u2018district scale\u2019 Mount Vernon and Trouble Bore target areas.<\/p>\n<p>Ground electromagnetic surveys <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/miramar-believes-it-has-a-district-scale-opportunity-at-bangemall-after-confirming-targets-for-a-maiden-drill-campaign\/\"><strong>outlined conductive drill targets<\/strong><\/a> consistent with Norilsk\u2019s nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE deposits in Siberia ahead of planned maiden drilling.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drill targets at Bangemall.
