{"id":7924,"date":"2024-04-04T22:28:47","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T22:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7924"},"modified":"2024-04-04T22:28:47","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T22:28:47","slug":"kula-golds-11-19g-t-rock-chips-show-exciting-gold-potential-at-brunswick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7924","title":{"rendered":"Kula Gold\u2019s 11.19g\/t rock chips show exciting gold potential at Brunswick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kula Gold identifies significant gold prospectivity after rock chips return assays of up to 11.19g\/t gold<br \/>\nCamilleri prospect includes the Camilleri mine area that had historical gold production totalling 236.7oz<br \/>\nAssays are pending from more intensive mapping of outcropping veins while work is planned at the Jarvis prospect<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em> Kula Gold has identified significant gold prospectivity at its Brunswick project in WA near a historical production area after rock chipping and mapping returned assays of up to 11.19g\/t gold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brunswick sits within the Donnybrook-Bridgetown Shear Zone just 35km from Greenbushes, the world\u2019s largest hard rock lithium mine.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/kula-gold-kgd\/\"><strong>Kula Gold\u2019s (ASX:KGD)<\/strong><\/a> interest in the project was initially sparked by its proximity to Greenbushes, Brunswick also hosts historical gold production with the Camilleri mine having produced some 236.7oz of the precious metal from 53t of material \u2013 or a grade of ~146g\/t gold.<\/p>\n<p>Previous rock chipping by the company near the Camilleri prospect, which includes the Blackwood area that produced 24oz of gold, had returned gold grades of 0.8-3.3g\/t.<\/p>\n<p>Camilleri is also close to the Donnybrook gold mine and is a gold trend near the intersection of the Donnybrook Shear Zone and the Darling Fault Zone.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Brunswick project showing the Camilleri and Jarvis prospects. Pic supplied (KGD)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Growing gold prospectivity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A recent rock chip sampling and mapping program has now delivered even more evidence that there\u2019s still gold to be found at Camilleri with laboratory assays returning grades of up to 11.19g\/t gold.<\/p>\n<p>KGD says the result is highly encouraging for a more advanced exploration programme in the coming quarters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKula Gold is particularly interested in the Camilleri Prospect in a historically rich area that had gold production of 236.7 ounces from 53 tons of material, (equates to 146g\/t),\u201d managing director Ric Dawson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis neglected area had previous miners plan drill holes which for unknown reasons did not eventuate.
