Biotron (ASX:BIT)<\/a> announces \u201cpositive outcomes\u201d in a Phase 2 clinical trial of the company\u2019s lead antiviral drug BIT225 targeting HIV.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe results suggest that BIT225 is having a unique effect beyond that seen with current standard of care antiretroviral drugs,\u201d it says.<\/p>\n

Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR)<\/a> is getting some impressive initial flow test results \u2014 1.3 million cubic feet per day without stimulation \u2014 from the Grandis gas project in Queensland.<\/p>\n

\u201cElixir understands this is the deepest unstimulated flow of gas in onshore Australia East of the Perth Basin,\u201d it says.<\/p>\n
