{"id":7828,"date":"2024-04-02T00:59:55","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T00:59:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7828"},"modified":"2024-04-02T00:59:55","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T00:59:55","slug":"resouro-steps-out-with-more-world-class-results-ahead-of-asx-ipo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7828","title":{"rendered":"Resouro steps out with more world-class results ahead of ASX IPO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Special Report: As Resouro prepares for its run at the ASX this month, latest assay results from its Tiros project have demonstrated its potential to be the world\u2019s largest and highest grade clay style rare earths and titanium oxide project.<\/p>\n<p>Intercepts from near surface at Resouro\u2019s Tiros project in Brazil show the consistency of world-class grades across large distances and outside where it is doing highly encouraging resource definition drilling.<\/p>\n<p>Hot on the heels of the company reporting <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/resouro-picks-up-momentum-after-scoring-more-world-class-results\/\">very high grade and wide intercepts from the Central Block<\/a>, which makes up just 9% of the 450km2 Tiros project, Resouro has found similarly impressive results 18km to the north and 35km to the south of that area.<\/p>\n<p>The step-out drilling success also closely follows a $1.5 million private placement as Resouro prepares for its secondary listing on the ASX in addition to the TSXV.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Thick and rich in high-value metals<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Highlights from the step out exploration include an interval from only 17m at Tiros North that\u2019s 18m thick with 18.45% titanium dioxide (TiO2) and total rare earth oxides (TREO) of 6,417 parts per million (ppm) with 1,149ppm high-value magnet rare earths neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr). One of the standouts from the Sao Gotardo block is an interval of 17m in thickness from 24m containing 11.6% TiO2 and 4,746 TREO with 1,065 NdPr.<\/p>\n<p>These regional results confirm that the Capacete Formation, the resource target at Tiros, is extremely consistent in terms of high TiO2 and TREO grades over a strike of more than 60km.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Industry-leading potential<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>CEO and president of Resouro, Chris Eager, said the latest results \u201cfurther confirms the high grade and massive size potential of Tiros project as a whole and shows its potential to become a world-leading, multi-decade mine producing critical minerals for the clean energy transition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe continuously high levels of TREO, NdPr and TiO2 grades reported at the Tiros Central block have been highly encouraging. Now these latest results and further samples awaiting lab analysis will help us produce a geological resource model and estimate a Maiden JORC Resource for Tiros Central.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarly results from Sao Gotardo and the Tiros North blocks are consistent with results from the Tiros Central Block, supporting a seemingly homogeneous ore body over at least a 53km strike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Capping it off<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Capacete Formation is an at-surface or near-surface, flat lying layer of volcanoclastic material extending over 71km.\u00a0 Resouro has acquired what it believes to be all the potentially economically interesting parts of the formation that are available, based on its access to an exploration database compiled over the past 14 years.<\/p>\n<p>While Resouro is yet to receive assay results from drilling on the Campo Alto block, geophysics and surface mapping indicate similar geology.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Next steps at Tiros<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The next step is to estimate a JORC Compliant Resource Exploration Target for the Central Block. Resouro will then incorporate all the assays from samples still pending to produce a Maiden JORC Resource for that area. This information, along with the metallurgical test-work results when they are ready, will be used to build a comprehensive geo-metallurgical model of the Central Block.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the latest exciting results from the northern and southern areas the team is now planning with renewed confidence some more exploration in those blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Tiros is in Brazil\u2019s powerhouse mining state of Minas Gerais, close to its excellent infrastructure and skilled labour.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A map of the Tiros project.
