{"id":7826,"date":"2024-04-02T01:12:57","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T01:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7826"},"modified":"2024-04-02T01:12:57","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T01:12:57","slug":"belararox-kicks-off-gold-exploration-drive-at-belara-next-door-to-the-high-grade-rejuvenated-reward-gold-mine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=7826","title":{"rendered":"Belararox kicks off gold exploration drive at Belara, next door to the high grade rejuvenated Reward gold mine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Belara rock chip samples show up to 4.99g\/t<br \/>\nLandholding is just north from Vertex Minerals\u2019 rebooted Reward gold mine<br \/>\nDeskstop studies to be completed before a planned fieldwork campaign<br \/>\nThe nearby Reward gold deposit (Vertex Minerals Limited ASX:VTX) holds a Total Mineral Resource Estimate of 419,000 tonnes at 16.72 grams per tonne (g\/t) of gold, totalling 225,200 ounces of gold<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: Belararox is going back to explore its Belara tenure north of Hill End, where Vertex Minerals is kickstarting its Reward gold mine in the eastern area of the prolific Lachlan Fold Belt gold mining district in NSW.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Imminent gold miner <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/vertex-minerals-vtx\/\"><strong>Vertex Minerals (ASX:VTX)<\/strong><\/a> recently produced a study of the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/vertex-rattles-tin-for-3-28m-to-quadruple-plant-processing-power-for-its-flagship-reward-gold-mine\/\"><strong>recently acquired gravity gold plant<\/strong><\/a> that its re-engineering for use at the high grade 225,200oz Reward gold mine.<\/p>\n<p>The upgraded refurbished plant will be able to treat up to 120,000ktpa, four times the existing plant\u2019s 30,000tpa run rate.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Location of the Belara tenements and Venture Minerals\u2019 Hill End project. Pic supplied: (BRX)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Orogenic gold potential<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Rock chip samples from <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/belararox-brx\/\"><strong>Belararox\u2019 (ASX:BRX)<\/strong><\/a> 2023 field campaign at Belara showed up to 4.99g\/t Au where hydrothermal metamorphic gold mineralisation is noted at three mineral occurrences.<\/p>\n<p>BRX says there\u2019s significant potential to extend the NNW trend of gold mineral occurrences within EL9523 to focus on areas that combine the prospectivity of orogenic gold with geological structures that are favourable to host gold mineralisation.<\/p>\n<p>The future combination of these features will identify gold targets that can be ranked for follow-up fieldwork exploration activities.<\/p>\n<p>Desktop studies are to begin next quarter for gold target generation and ranking ahead of boots on the ground exploration.<\/p>\n<p>Those exploration activities are anticipated to include geological reconnaissance of existing mapped features and historical mineral occurrences and investigating newly generated targets and surface sampling programs and expected later this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecent fieldwork at the Belara project offers valuable insights into existing gold mineral occurrences, particularly emphasising its potential for orogenic gold alongside base metals mineral resource estimates,\u201d BRX MD Arvind Misra says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSituated in the East Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW, the project shows promising signs of gold mineralisation, supported by rock chip sample assays reaching up to 4.99g\/t Au.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThirteen additional mineral occurrences hint at undiscovered gold mineralised sources within the project\u2019s tenures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This article was developed in collaboration with Belararox, a Stockhead advertiser at the time of publishing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This article does not constitute financial product advice.
