{"id":6207,"date":"2024-02-22T03:47:43","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T03:47:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=6207"},"modified":"2024-02-22T03:47:43","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T03:47:43","slug":"summit-minerals-lifts-stallion-tenure-by-84pc-now-one-of-the-largest-uranium-blocks-in-the-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=6207","title":{"rendered":"Summit Minerals lifts Stallion tenure by 84pc, now one of the largest uranium blocks in the region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summit Minerals increases its Stallion project tenure to 361km2<br \/>\nUranium endowment also grows from 3.3Mlb to 7Mlb U3O8<br \/>\nPaleochannel-hosted uranium mineralisation length up from 8km to 28km<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: Battery metal and uranium-focused Summit Minerals has added another exploration licence to expand its Stallion uranium project tenure \u2013 increasing the total area from 196km2 to 361km2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/summit-minerals-sum\/\"><strong>Summit Minerals (ASX:SUM)<\/strong><\/a> has today increased its groundholding in the highly prospective Ponton Creek uranium district, east of Kalgoorlie, by 84%.<\/p>\n<p>It has also more than tripled the length of palaeochannel-hosted uranium mineralisation inside its tenure, from 8km to 28km.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>New tenements, new prospects<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Stallion\u2019s new E28\/3251 tenement captures mineralisation across the historical Highway and Shelf uranium deposits and several advanced prospects, including East Arm and Narnoo.<\/p>\n<p>The drilled uranium prospects include the 3.3Mlb Stallion, 1.9Mlb Highway (where estimates have been based on 304 drill holes for 18,236m) and 1.8Mlb Shelf resources.<\/p>\n<p>The Stallion project tenements.
