Good morning everyone, and welcome to 22 February, 2024 \u2013\u00a0an important day in Church history, as it was on this day in 1173 that Pope Alexander III canonised former Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Becket.<\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, there was \u201ca loud bang, and bits of the Archbishop went everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today is also my birthday, as it was on this day in the early 1970s that someone had a chance to stop me, but didn\u2019t. This is all their fault.<\/p>\n

For your perusal this morning, we have Nadine McGrath\u2019s most-excellent look at an ASX-listed cancer fighter working hard to make cancer treatment heart-safe<\/a> as well, and Eddy\u2019s written something about TrivarX<\/a> that I haven\u2019t read yet, but I\u2019m assuming will be up to his usual glorious standards.<\/p>\n

Yesterday\u2019s Small Cap Winners included:<\/h2>\n

Alterity Therapeutics (ASX:ATH)<\/a> was out in front on Wednesday morning, rising steadily after presenting new data, including new baseline biomarker data on ATH434 from its ongoing Phase 2 randomised, double blind clinical trial, was presented at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 2024 Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Australian Mines (ASX:AUZ)<\/a> was up on news of a new, second exploration target prospective for niobium and rare earths at the Jequie Rare Earth Project located within the state of Bahia in Fabulous Brazil.<\/p>\n

Rincon Resources (ASX:RCR)<\/a> continued to make hay from Monday\u2019s announcement that the company has grown its tenement size in the West Arunta region to more than 260km2, after a new exploration licence application was granted over an area that contains the historic \u2018Mantati\u2019 copper-lead-zinc occurrence.<\/p>\n

Singular Health Group (ASX:SHG)<\/a> was also in the good books, announcing that it has raised $4,123,142 through a recent capital raising via institutional, sophisticated and professional investors, resulting in the issue of 37,483,101 fully paid ordinary shares.<\/p>\n

Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD)<\/a> has reported extensive gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc mineralisation has been confirmed by a rock chip reconnaissance program over the Henry prospect within the Kempfield project in NSW, returning high-grade polymetallic assays up to 14.05g\/t Au, 85.2g\/t Ag, 0.5% Cu, 0.41% Pb and 0.28% Zn.<\/p>\n

NickelX (ASX:NKL)<\/a> was back in the news, after issuing an amended announcement relating to the identification of uranium mineralisation and priority target areas\u00a0 from data compilation and review at the Elliot Lake uranium project in Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n
