$35m capped gold explorer Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR)<\/a> has released drill results via the ASX which include the phrase \u201cbag of dicks\u201d under sampling techniques.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were having a joke in the office in one of the drafts of that announcement and it unfortunately didn\u2019t get removed before the final,\u201d MD Andrew Paterson told Stockhead<\/em>.<\/p>\n

So not a new tool of the trade, then. It is drawing attention to the company\u2019s results anyway, which included a lengthy 5m hit grading 7.42g\/t from 18m at Saltbush, part of the flagship 668,000oz Side Well project in WA.<\/p>\n

The maiden drill program at Saltbush \u201cindicates a similar geological setting\u201d to the 100koz @ 3.3g\/t gold Ironbark deposit, the company says.<\/p>\n

More assays are pending, with new drill program already underway.<\/p>\n\n

Olympio sells gold project to famous prospector, Bill Richmond<\/h2>\n

Lithium focused junior Olympio Metals (ASX:OLY)<\/a> will sell a bunch of non-core tenements near Halls Creek to famous prospector Bill Richmond for $220,000 cash.<\/p>\n

Richmond had already lodged a plaint against one of these tenements E80\/5025 (Dry Creek). Maybe he likes what he sees.<\/p>\n

This 2013 yarn<\/a> describes Richmond as a rich gypsy, rubbing shoulders with big names like Twiggy Forrest while living out of a \u201991 Daihatsu van.<\/p>\n

Richmond also made headlines for his battle against copper miner Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR)<\/strong><\/a> , who was stymied in its attempts to farm into the Red Bore project next door to the DeGrussa mine after the prospector exercised a pre-emptive right.<\/p>\n

Richmond paid $1.65m cash and pledged to spend $1.5m on exploration over the ensuing 18-month period, shutting down Sandfire\u2019s initial deal.<\/p>\n

The miner would eventually buy out Richmond in October 2020 for a cash payment of $1.25m plus net smelter royalty; a loss-making deal for Richmond and a pointless one for Sandfire, which would shutter DeGrussa late 2022\/ early 2023.<\/p>\n
