{"id":4752,"date":"2024-01-23T01:21:39","date_gmt":"2024-01-23T01:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=4752"},"modified":"2024-01-23T01:21:39","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T01:21:39","slug":"new-lithium-trends-identified-in-soil-sampling-at-dynamic-metals-widgiemooltha-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=4752","title":{"rendered":"New lithium trends identified in soil sampling at Dynamic Metals\u2019 Widgiemooltha project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two lithium anomalies have been identified at the Franks Far Southeast (FFSE) prospect<br \/>\nThese results are the last to received from 880 samples taken as part of Dynamic\u2019s ongoing reconnaissance exploration<br \/>\nThe FFSE prospect adds to recently identified lithium targets at Spargos East and Pioneer Dome West<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em> Two lithium soil anomalies \u2013 each more than 1,000m in strike and 300-600m wide \u2013 have been identified at the Franks Far Southeast (FFSE) prospect within Dynamic\u2019s Widgiemooltha project. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/dynamic-metals-dym\/\">Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM)<\/a> has been systemically working through the lithium potential of its substantial land package in Western Australia\u2019s Goldfields region at the Widgiemooltha project, within a known corridor of world-class nickel sulphide deposits and gold deposits.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, the area has emerged as a \u201clithium belt\u201d with three lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite-related mines developed in the past few years \u2013 including the Mt Marion, Bald Hill and Buldania projects \u2013 all within 25km of DYM\u2019s tenure.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this strategy, around 880 samples were taken at the Spargos East and FFSE prospects in November targeting LCT type pegmatites associated with the contact between volcaniclastic and mafic\/ultramafic units.<\/p>\n<p>Results from the first 300 assays returned over the Spargos East area announced to the market in December defined a robust and consistent lithium anomaly in soils over 100ppm Li with a peak returned assay of 190ppm.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Anomalies over 1,000m in strike <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Most of the remaining soil sampling results are located at Franks Far Southeast, where two large anomalies have been identified, each over 1,000m in strike length and 300-600m wide.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the southern-most target has strong support from historic rock chip samples assaying up to 1,010ppm Li.<\/p>\n<p>Results from maiden soil sampling program at Franks Far Southeast lithium prospect.
