{"id":4504,"date":"2024-01-17T03:55:22","date_gmt":"2024-01-17T03:55:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=4504"},"modified":"2024-01-17T03:55:22","modified_gmt":"2024-01-17T03:55:22","slug":"kingsland-considers-strategic-options-for-6-8mt-cleo-uranium-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=4504","title":{"rendered":"Kingsland considers strategic options for 6.8Mt Cleo uranium project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kingsland Minerals undertakes strategic review of the Cleo uranium project in the NT<br \/>\nCleo contains an inferred resource of 6.8Mt @ 345ppm U3O8 (150ppm U3O8 cut-off grade) for 5.2Mlbs U3O8<br \/>\nKingsland\u2019s activities are focused on advancing the potentially world-class Leliyn graphite project with a maiden resource on track for Q1 CY24 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em>: With Kingsland Minerals committed to advancing the potential of its world-class Leliyn graphite project, the company is undertaking a strategic review of its Cleo uranium project near Pine Creek in the NT. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/kingsland-minerals-kng\/\"><strong>Kingsland Minerals (ASX:KNG)<\/strong><\/a> listed in June 2022 with the Cleo uranium project as its flagship project, boasting an inferred resource of 5.2Mlbs U3O8 and impressive exploration results including zones of up to 29,197ppm (2.9%) U3O8.<\/p>\n<p>But whilst incredibly prospective, Cleo has become second priority to the company as it continues to progress exploration at the Leliyn graphite project, which it believes holds the potential to become a globally significant asset in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p>The company remains on track to deliver a maiden resource at Leliyn later this quarter, home to an exploration target of 200-250Mt @ 8-11% TGC for contained graphite of 16-27Mt, based on a graphitic schist measuring 5km long, 200m deep and 100m wide.<\/p>\n<p>Regional map showing Kingsland\u2019s Northern Territory exploration projects.
