What\u2019s next for the budding developer?<\/p>\n<p>Stockhead\u2019s Sarah Hughan sits down with <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/dy6-metals-dy6\/\">DY6 Metals (ASX:DY6)<\/a> CEO Lloyd Kaiser to get the short end of the long story on the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/shallow-thick-continuous-and-stacked-how-big-is-dy6s-machinga-rare-earths-discovery\/\">company\u2019s latest announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, DY6 shared <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/continued-widespread-intersections-dy6-drills-into-more-high-grade-magnet-rare-earths-in-malawi\/\">new intercepts<\/a> from Machinga such as 11m at 0.74% TREO and 0.29% Nb2O5 from surface (3.8% DyTb\/TREO), including 2m at 1.36% TREO and 0.49% Nb2O5 from 6m (4% Dy\/Tb\/TREO).<\/p>\n<p>Excitement continues to brew around Machinga as it is roughly 40km away from Lindian Resources\u2019 Kangankunde deposit \u2013 the largest rare earths deposit located outside of China with a 261Mt at 2.19% TREO resource.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMalawi has good existing infrastructure and good power; a lot of people don\u2019t realise that 90% of the power comes from hydroelectricity so it fits well with the decarbonisation strategy,\u201d Kaiser told <em>Stockhead TV<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Tune in to hear DY6 Metals\u2019 Lloyd Kaiser on what comes next at Machinga and why Malawi is the place to be right now.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/stockhead-tv\/long-shortz-with-dy6-metals-chugging-along-at-machinga\/\">Long Shortz with DY6 Metals: Chugging along at Machinga<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/\">Stockhead<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rare earths explorer DY6 Metals continues to turn up impressive hits from its Machinga rare earths project in Malawi time and time again.
