Special Report: <\/em>Lithium Universe has <\/strong>completed its 2023 summer\/fall exploration work program at the Apollo lithium project in Canada.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The project boasts geological and geophysical characteristics similar to well-known spodumene pegmatites in the area such as Patriot Battery Metals\u2019 (ASX:PMT)<\/strong><\/a> 109.2Mt Corvette property \u2013 just 29km away \u2013 and Winsome Resources\u2019 (ASX:WR1)<\/strong><\/a> Adina property, another 28km away.<\/p>\n

Through regional magnetics, the company has found all three projects to be in the same greenstone belt of the La Grande sub-province situated within the east-central portion of the Superior Geological Province, in the middle of the Canadian Shield.<\/p>\n

Given the exceptional results from these neighbouring projects including hits like 1.80% Li2O over 23.4m at WR1\u2019s Adina project, Lithium Universe (ASX:LU7)<\/strong><\/a> believes Apollo has the potential to be equally successful.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The field mapping and sampling campaign completed to date concentrated on evaluating the potential for rare element LCT pegmatite, spodumene mineralisation, and geochemical pathfinders.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Doubling down on drill targets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A 300 x 150m soil sampling program was also conducted on the north-west and central parts of the project collecting a total of 2,220 samples \u2013 with results now received and expected to assist in doubling down on drill targets for next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe summer\/fall program of work and laboratory analysis sets the company up with great interpretation and understanding of the geology of the Apollo lithium project,\u201d LU7 chairman Iggy Tan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe work has been methodical and systematic, which is required to map out a drilling campaign in the new year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe look forward the continued exploration efforts of Apollo in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Targeting a major shear corridor<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The company has now devised a drilling strategy for 2024 along a major east-west trending fault shear corridor feature that extends from the Apollo project to WR1\u2019s Adina Lithium project to the east.<\/p>\n

Drilling at Adina has delivered some impressive results, including 1.34% Li2O over 107.6m from 2.3m to 109.9m and maiden resource of 59Mt at 1.12% Li2O.<\/p>\n

This shear corridor feature could control any potential spodumene mineralisation, LU7 says, with the first drilling targets designed specifically along shear corridor features and defined by anomalous lithium, caesium, tantalum, beryllium, tin, niobium and tungsten anomalies and trends.<\/p>\n
