{"id":3783,"date":"2023-12-28T06:12:52","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T06:12:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=3783"},"modified":"2023-12-28T06:12:52","modified_gmt":"2023-12-28T06:12:52","slug":"whats-in-store-for-2024-ark-mines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=3783","title":{"rendered":"What\u2019s in store for 2024: Ark Mines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stockhead\u2019s Sarah Hughan sits down with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/ark-mines-ahk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ark Mines (ASX:AHK)<\/a> executive chairman Roger Jackson to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what\u2019s around the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson says one of the major highlights of the year was the Sandy Mitchell acquisition in north Queensland and the completion of three drilling programs at the site.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSandy Mitchell is the only sand deposit that is rare earths from surface, and as far as we know there are no other projects like it on the ASX,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sand is amenable to beneficiation by gravity, which makes it incredibly unique.
