{"id":3374,"date":"2023-12-18T01:40:17","date_gmt":"2023-12-18T01:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=3374"},"modified":"2023-12-18T01:40:17","modified_gmt":"2023-12-18T01:40:17","slug":"blue-star-nabs-approval-to-drill-four-more-us-helium-wells","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=3374","title":{"rendered":"Blue Star nabs approval to drill four more US helium wells"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Star Helium secures approval to drill four more wells at its Voyager helium project<br \/>\nApproval brings well drilling inventory at the Colorado-based project to six wells<br \/>\nDrilling set to recommence in early January 2024 <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em> Blue Star Helium has secured regulatory approval to drill four additional wells at its maiden Voyager helium development in Colorado, USA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project is just six miles from the historical Model Dome field in Las Animas Country, Colorado, which hosts amongst the top three highest helium concentrations in the world.<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate goal of bringing the project into production would make <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/blue-star-helium-bnl\/\"><strong>Blue Star Helium (ASX:BNL)<\/strong><\/a> one of the first ASX-listed primary helium plays to enter production, allowing it to tap into high helium prices due to a critical lack of supply.<\/p>\n<p>The Colorado Energy &amp; Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) has now approved the Forms 2 relating to four proposed helium development wells \u2013 Daniel 08 SWNE, Bolling 04 NWSE, Bolling 09 NWNW and Bolling 04 SESW 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Drilling slated for January 2024<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>These additional four wells mean the company now has a robust inventory of six wells approved for drilling, giving BNL flexibility to optimise early drilling of the discovered resource at Voyager and to expand its initial Voyager development well drilling program early in Q1 2024.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected Voyager will ultimately utilise a 20-well development inventory to maximise the contingent resource.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pic: Voyager helium development ECMC approved well locations.
