Special Report<\/em><\/strong>: The first round of assays from an 800 soil sampling program at two of Dynamic Metals\u2019 Widgiemooltha prospects are showing up to 409 parts per million (ppm) Li2O.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After successfully completing an IPO in January this year raising $7 million, Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM)<\/strong><\/a> has been aggressively exploiting its flagship Widegiemooltha project for lithium prospectivity.<\/p>\n

The company says it\u2019s systematically working through the lithium potential of the sizeable 880km2 tenure.<\/p>\n

The tenement package contains four prospects \u2013 Pioneer Dome West, Franks Far South East (FFSE), Mandilla East and Spargos East \u2013 straddling an emerging and significant lithium belt in WA\u2019s Goldfields region.<\/p>\n

Recent auger drilling<\/strong><\/a> at Pioneer Dome West \u2013 adjacent to Develop Global\u2019s (ASX:DVP)<\/strong><\/a> 11.2Mt Dome North project \u2013 confirmed a 2.8km trend of elevated lithium and pathfinder elements.<\/p>\n

The explorer has now turned its attention to the Spargos East prospect, just 14km south of Mineral Resources\u2019 (ASX:MIN)<\/strong><\/a> Mt Marion lithium mining and processing operations, where it recently completed a huge soil sampling program.<\/p>\n

LCT mineralisation potential<\/strong><\/h2>\n

DYM collected 880 soil samples at the Spargos East and FFSE prospects in November, targeting lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) type pegmatites associated with the contact between volcaniclastic and mafic\/ultramafic units.<\/p>\n

The first 300 assays returned from Spargos East highlight a robust and consistent lithium anomaly in soils over 100ppm Li, with peak assays of 190 ppm (equivalent of 409ppm Li2O). The potential for LCT mineralisation is supported by rubidium (up to 492ppm), tantalum (up to 57ppm) and Caesium (up to 64ppm).<\/p>\n

DYM says it will complete an infill phase of soil sampling to define potential drill targets for 2024, and review and complete any requirements for permitting in preparation of drilling.<\/p>\n
