Special Report<\/em><\/strong>: Metal Hawk\u2019s 148-hole AC drilling campaign at the highly prospective F-camp prospect at Yarmany has wrapped up, and without even waiting for results, RC drilling is about to commence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yarmany is a lithium and nickel project within the highly-mineralised Ida Fault in the WA Goldfields region where Metal Hawk (ASX:MHK)<\/strong><\/a> identified F-camp to be the target of an intensive AC drill campaign<\/strong><\/a> back in October.<\/p>\n

The region is an emerging world-class lithium precinct, hosting the likes of Liontown Resources\u2019 (ASX:LTR)<\/strong><\/a> 156Mt @ 1.4% Li2O Kathleen Valley and Delta Lithium\u2019s (ASX:DLI)<\/strong><\/a> 12.7Mt @ 1.2% Li2O Mt Ida projects.<\/p>\n

Drilling <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Confidence is high at MHK \u2013 so much so it\u2019s not waiting the 4-6 weeks for assays from AC drilling of F-camp before kicking off RC drilling \u2013 which contains a 1km-long and up to 140m-wide pegmatite system riddled with lithium mineralisation.<\/p>\n

MHK MD Will Belbin says following the recent $3.5 million capital raising and the completion of its AC campaign, the team are very excited to get RC drilling underway this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe aircore drilling program went very well and we believe it has helped us define the best parts of the large F-camp pegmatite swarm for bedrock testing,\u201d Belbin says.<\/p>\n

While RC drilling gets underway to further prove up F-camp, auger drilling elsewhere within Yarmany has also begun.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn extensive auger geochemical sampling program is now underway, focusing on the southern half of the Yarmany project and this will help us quickly develop regional lithium targets for drilling in Q1 2024,\u201d Belbin says.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of exploration activity in the pipeline at Yarmany and we look forward to seeing the potential of this exciting project.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regional targets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A large geochemical auger sampling program (2,000 holes) has been designed to follow-up several regional lithium anomalies generated from both historical and recent wide-spaced geochemical surface sampling.<\/p>\n

Targets will then be ranked and prioritised for drilling in early next year.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, heritage surveys are planned for this month and will focus on the southern portion of the Yarmany project.<\/p>\n

Once completed and signed off, early 2024 regional lithium and nickel sulphide drilling will test a range of priority targets along a 15km trend proximal to the Ida Fault.<\/p>\n
