\u00a0<\/p>\n

Special Report:<\/em> <\/strong>DY6 Metals has completed an extensive sampling and mapping program at the never-before-drilled and highly prospective Salambidwe rare earths project in southern Malawi. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Salambidwe \u2013 southwest of the company\u2019s flagship Machinga project \u2013 sits within a highly attractive geological province.<\/p>\n

Peers in the neighbourhood include Lindian Resources\u2019 261Mt at 2.19% TREO Kangankunde project \u2013 one of biggest and best rare earths deposits outside of China.<\/p>\n

The early stage Salambidwe project boasts historic rock chips results grading up to 2.05% TREO.<\/p>\n

It also contains potential for niobium, an element gaining popularity for its ability to cut charging times and fire risks in lithium-ion batteries.<\/p>\n

Refining targets for maiden drilling<\/strong><\/h2>\n

DY6 has collected ~500 soil and rock chip samples over 50-line kilometres within the project with results expected in late January 2024.<\/p>\n

Following completion of the geochemical program, DY6 Metals (ASX:DY6)<\/strong><\/a> has commenced an airborne geophysical program at Salambidwe, which will consist of 45-line kilometres of electromagnetic and radiometric surveying to map the magnetic and conductive properties of the geology at Salambidwe.<\/p>\n

The data promises to be more detailed compared to the data obtained by the previous survey, the Geological Mapping and Mineral Assessment Project (GEMMAP), which had lapses due to the model and technicality of the survey.<\/p>\n

The combined geochemical and geophysical data is aimed at refining targets prior to a maiden drill program in Q2 2024.<\/p>\n
