{"id":2513,"date":"2023-12-01T03:26:30","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T03:26:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2513"},"modified":"2023-12-01T03:26:30","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T03:26:30","slug":"worlds-fair-prospect-is-a-treasure-trove-with-tambourah-confirming-up-to-8-6g-t-gold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2513","title":{"rendered":"World\u2019s Fair prospect is a treasure trove with Tambourah confirming up to 8.6g\/t gold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tambourah Metals reports up to 8.6g\/t at World\u2019s Fair prospect at namesake project in WA<br \/>\nThe project hosts over 30 historical gold workings<br \/>\nAssays from lithium drilling are pending<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em> First assay results from Tambourah Metals\u2019 RC program at the World\u2019s Fair prospect, part of its namesake Pilbara project, have returned up to 8.6g\/t gold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review of old data by<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/tambourah-metals-tmb\/\">Tambourah Metals (ASX:TMB)<\/a><\/strong> has generated several targets at the project, which hosts over 30 historical gold workings.<\/p>\n<p>A promising drill campaign in 2022 at five of these prospects \u2013 Tambourah King, Western Chief, Western Chief south, Federal and Kushmattite \u2013 returned several promising hits.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, TMB recorded the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/another-cascade-of-gold-with-tambourah-drilling-a-record-intercept-and-continuity-extending-to-150m\/\">strongest mineralised intercept ever at the project<\/a>; 5m at 6.1g\/t gold from 69m (including 1m at 28g\/t gold from 70-71m) at the Tambourah King prospect.<\/p>\n<p>This new RC drilling program was also designed to test high priority gold targets at the World\u2019s Fair prospect \u2013 where mining was completed in the 1890s \u2013 with nine RC holes for 1,388m completed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tambourah district historic mine locations. Pic via TMB<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>More high-grade hits from World\u2019s Fair<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Initial assay results from World\u2019s Fair include:<\/p>\n<p>3m at 3.3g\/t gold from 23m (TBRC032), including 1m at 8.4g\/t gold from 23m<br \/>\n1m at 4.9g\/t gold from 2m (TBRC033) and<br \/>\n4m at 3g\/t gold from 15m (TBRC039), including 1m at 8.6g\/t gold from 15m<\/p>\n<p>The results confirm the continuity of the high-grade gold mineralisation at the project, and its potential to host high-grade gold mineralisation throughout the 30 historic gold prospects.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cross section of TMB drilling showing mineralisation in TBRC032 and 033.
