{"id":2453,"date":"2023-11-29T04:31:11","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T04:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2453"},"modified":"2023-11-29T04:31:11","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T04:31:11","slug":"belararox-has-a-5km-long-lithium-trend-in-its-sights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2453","title":{"rendered":"Belararox has a 5km-long lithium trend in its sights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Infill soil sampling almost complete across six anomalous lithium targets at Bullabulling in the WA goldfields<br \/>\nExploration has identified a 5km lithium trend from sampling<br \/>\nResults will identify potential drilling targets for next year <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report: <\/em><\/strong><strong>Infill soil sampling has commenced at Belararox\u2019 Bullabulling gold and lithium project in WA\u2019s eastern Goldfields region spanning six targets across a 5km anomalous lithium zone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bullabulling is 11.5km east of <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/future-battery-minerals-fbm\/\"><strong>Future Battery Minerals\u2019 (ASX:FBM)<\/strong><\/a> Kangaroo lithium project where 29m @ 1.36% Li2O from 38m downhole was intercepted in a 14-hole Phase 1 RC drill campaign earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Those results were from fractionalised pegmatites close to <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/belararox-brx\/\"><strong>Belararox\u2019 (ASX:BRX)<\/strong><\/a> tenements.<\/p>\n<p>They also sit within a similar geological setting and are analogous to the pegmatites identified at Bullbulling, where <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/belararox-has-a-bunch-of-promising-lithium-and-gold-anomalies-to-drill-at-bullabulling\/\"><strong>elevated lithium values have been identified<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bullabulling and surrounding lithium projects in the WA Goldfields. Pic supplied: (BRX)<\/p>\n<p>1581 soil samples collected across highly prospective areas for lithium and gold mineralisation revealed several strong anomalies for both elements.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 324ppm lithium was returned associated with elevated caesium (Cs) and tantalum (Ta), confirming LCT pegmatite-type targets within mafic metamorphic rocks adjacent to the Bali Monzogranite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBullabulling is in an exciting part of Western Australia with a lot of exciting lithium exploration occurring next door to our project,\u201d MD Arvind Misra told\u00a0<em>Stockhead<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile Bullabulling was originally a gold project for us, it\u2019s now clear there is the potential for a significant lithium find and we are excited to begin infill soil sampling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Infill sampling starts across the 5km lithium zone<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Further geological analyses of the initial soil sample results show an anomalous lithium trend that extends across 5km and consists of six significant lithium anomalies. BRX has now commenced an infill soil program across those targets.<\/p>\n<p>In tandem, geological mapping and rock chip sampling program is being undertaken with results anticipated by the end of January to inform locations for a potential drilling campaign next year.<\/p>\n<p>Regional sampling will also be conducted next year to investigate lithium potential to the south of the Bullabulling concession.<\/p>\n<p>Bullabulling\u2019s identified 5km-long anomalous lithium zone.
