(NYSE: PHG)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Philips is a leading global healthcare company, and the deal will establish a strategic collaboration to expand federal and commercial sales opportunities for<strong> 4DX\u2019s XV Technology<\/strong> in North America.<\/p>\n<p>The initial focus of the partnership will be to offer 4D lung imaging as a critical screening solution for <strong>US Veterans<\/strong> exposed to burn pits.<\/p>\n<p>Philips is one of the <strong>US. Veterans Health Administration\u2019s (VA)<\/strong> most important partners; around 50% of VA clinics use Philips\u2019 imaging systems.<\/p>\n<p>4DX says the signing of this MoU represents a major step forward in the company\u2019s commercialisation strategy, particularly within the VA.<\/p>\n<p>Having access to Philips\u2019 team of industry experts, with unparalleled relationships in global healthcare, provides an unprecedented opportunity to accelerate 4DMedical\u2019s go-to-market activities, particularly in the VA, says 4DX.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the MoU, 4DMedical\u2019s XV Technology will be added to Philips\u2019 product catalogue and offered as a third-party solution.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the parties intend to expand access to both software and hardware solutions, including to other US based Federal agencies and commercial organisations in North America. The parties will also consider other markets outside of North America for expansion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo partner with a healthcare powerhouse such as Philips is a phenomenal opportunity for 4D to accelerate our mission,\u201d said 4D Medical\u2019s CEO and founder, Andreas Fouras.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am incredibly excited by the reach this will give our technology, and importantly, the impact this will have for millions of Veterans and their caregivers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Fisher &amp; Paykel had a strong first half<\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/fisher-paykel-healthcare-fph\/\">Fisher &amp; Paykel Healthcare (ASX:FPH)<\/a><\/strong> has released the results for the <strong>first half of the 2024 financial year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the six months ended 30 September, total operating revenue was $803.7 million, a 16% increase from the pcp.<\/p>\n<p>Net profit after tax for the first half was $107.3 million, a 12% increase from the pcp, or a 22% increase in constant currency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur first half result indicates a continuation of stable ordering patterns in our Hospital business, and a robust performance for Homecare,\u201d said CEI Lewis Gradon.<\/p>\n<p>In the Hospital product group, which includes humidification products used in respiratory, acute and surgical care, revenue for the first half was $487.5 million.
