{"id":2031,"date":"2023-11-22T00:23:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-22T00:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2031"},"modified":"2023-11-22T00:23:28","modified_gmt":"2023-11-22T00:23:28","slug":"delta-neighbour-voltaic-dials-in-on-lithium-paydirt-at-ti-tree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=2031","title":{"rendered":"Delta neighbour Voltaic dials in on lithium paydirt at Ti Tree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A closed spaced soil survey is underway to aid in the delineation of target areas at Voltaic\u2019s Ti Tree project in the Gascoyne region of WA<br \/>\nSurface reconnaissance is also planned at Ti Tree \u2018Central\u2019 and \u2018North\u2019 at areas not previously explored with a focus on structural targets<br \/>\nThe company is also actively working with Native Title parties and governmental agencies on expediting the granting of the remaining tenements under application<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em><\/strong><strong> A close spaced soil survey is underway at the Akira pegmatites to aid in the delineation of target areas for an upcoming ground gravity survey and follow up drilling. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/voltaic-strategic-resources-vsr\/\">Voltaic Strategic Resources (ASX:VSR)<\/a> Ti Tree project is one of four individual projects that make up the company\u2019s 2,144km2 Gascoyne tenement package.<\/p>\n<p>The project is surrounded by <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/delta-lithium-dli\/\"><strong>Delta Lithium (ASX:DLI)<\/strong><\/a> and its Yinnietharra project, which sparked a lithium frenzy in WA\u2019s Mid-West with big hits including 56m at 1.12% lithium in a field full of \u201cgreat big slabs of unmapped pegmatites\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ti Tree project map. Pic via Voltaic Strategic Resources<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yinnietharra is now beginning to look more like a province than a project and while still early days, VSR is hoping to find something similar at Ti Tree.<\/p>\n<p>A 22km lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) corridor, named the \u2018Volta Corridor\u2019 was identified last year and has been the source of 18 priority target areas identified to date.<\/p>\n<p>VSR has since increased the prospective Volta Corridor to 40km strike length within the Ti Tree tenure, but it is interpreted to extend at least 80 km in a NW-SE orientation, underlaying both the Yinnietharra lithium discovery and Voltaic\u2019s ground.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Soil survey underway <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Despite the challenging terrain and high temperature conditions, VSR is continuing with its systematic on-ground exploration program at Ti Tree.<\/p>\n<p>A closed spaced soil survey is underway at the high priority LCT prospect \u2018Akira\u2019 within an area of high tantalum anomalism.<\/p>\n<p>From there, VSR plans to complete a wide spaced survey at at Ti Tree East across the Lithos and Trinity prospects that overlay a \u201cvery prospective\u201d metasedimentary schists and greenstone corridor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cValidation of the newly identified targets, along with prospecting of previously unexplored areas continues to be a high priority for Voltaic before undertaking the next round of planned drilling in early 2024\u201d VSR CEO Michael Walshe says.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Following up new targets <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The explorer is also actively following up several new targets that have been identified from a geochemical targeting program in collaboration with Xplore Global, a UK-based geological consultancy specialising in LCT geochemistry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to begin exploration of these new target areas, many of which are proximal to Delta Lithium\u2019s Jameson prospect, and in the most prospective geology of the entire 80km Volta Corridor,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConcurrently, we are actively working with Native Title parties and governmental agencies on expediting the granting of the remaining tenements under application at Ti Tree.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This article was developed in collaboration with Voltaic Strategic Resources, a Stockhead advertiser at the time of publishing. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This article does not constitute financial product advice.
