highlight the best (and sometimes worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data, to provide a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms that have made announcements.<\/p>\n<p>The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has started trading \u2013\u00a0for better or worse \u2013\u00a0and then I do my best to make sense of who\u2019s moving where and why it might be happening.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway\u2026 here\u2019s what\u2019s been happening since the doors were opened this morning\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The ASX got off to a bumpy start this morning, with InfoTech stocks surging but the Materials sector has gone the other way thanks to the short-lived nature of the recent iron ore price spike, dragging the ASX 200 benchmark down by -0.25%.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>WINNERS<\/h2>\n<p>Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to rel=\"noopener\">WordPress Table Plugin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/rex-minerals-rxm\/\"><strong>Rex Minerals (ASX:RXM)<\/strong><\/a> was the early flyer on Monday morning, no news that it\u2019s entered a scheme implementation deed that will see MACH Metals Australia buy the entire company for <span>$0.47<\/span><span> per Rex share \u2013 which is a huge premium of 79% to Rex\u2019s 30-day VWAP2 and 98% to the 90-day VWAP, valuing the company at $393 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/gold-mountain-gmn\/\"><strong>Gold Mountain (ASX:GMN)<\/strong><\/a> \u00a0was also moving quickly on Monday, on news that the company has received assays <span>from regional stream sediment sampling with widespread anomalies <\/span><span>that cover a <\/span><span>total area of approximately 80km2, signallingpotential for ultra-high grade hard rock monazite hosted REE-Nb-U-Sc mineralisation at its Down Under project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Robotic technology company\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/fbr-fbr\/\"><strong>FBR (ASX:FBR)<\/strong><\/a> was up on news that its <span>its first next-generation Hadrian X construction robot has arrived in the United States, where it will be transported to a facility in Fort Myers, Florida to undergo testing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/bastion-minerals-bmo\/\"><strong>Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO)<\/strong><\/a> was up early on news that s<span>oil sampling has <\/span><span>defined elevated l<\/span><span>ithium<\/span> <span>to 120 ppm north of the post<\/span><span>\u2013<\/span><span>tectonic granite (Agl) <\/span><span>identified in government mapping, along with e<\/span><span>levated <\/span><span>tantalum<\/span> <span>(to 18 ppm)<\/span><span>, rubidium<\/span> <span>(to 234 ppm)<\/span><span>, tin <\/span><span>(to 13 ppm) <\/span><span>and cerium<\/span> <span>(to 115 ppm)<\/span> <span>occur <\/span><span>in the south of the soil grid, at its 100% owned Split Rock Dam project in WA.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>LAGGARDS<\/h2>\n<p>Stocks
