But first, the day ahead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Roy Morgan and ANZ release the weekly consumer sentiment index, which hit a 20-month low ahead of the RBA\u2019s interest rate hike on May 3.<\/p>\n

Commonwealth Bank (ASX:CBA)<\/a> releases the Household Spending Indicator and National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB)<\/a> issues the April business survey.<\/p>\n

Business confidence stands at a five-month high with business conditions at nine-month highs, CommSec says.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Australian Bureau of Stats releases its final estimates for retail trade in March and the March quarter as well as the monthly business turnover indicator \u2013 a broader measure of spending.<\/p>\n

PURE DRAMA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chinese firm Zijin Mining has reportedly pounced on a 15% stake in the world class \u2018Manono\u2019 lithium project in the DRC, which could push AVZ\u2019s (ASX:AVZ)<\/a> holding down to ~36%.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the transfer is completed, the stake held by AVZ in Dathcom [Manono holding company] will drop to 36%, and AVZ will no longer have an absolute controlling interest in Dathcom,\u201d Zijin says.<\/p>\n

Take that with a grain of salt, but it sounds like this one could go to the courts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prescient Therapeutics (ASX:PTX)<\/a> announced its Phase 1b clinical trial of PTX-200 and cytarabine in patients with relapsed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) will expand the cohort at 45 mg\/m\u00b2 PTX-200 following another complete remission and no dose limiting toxicities at this dose level.<\/p>\n

Bet you didn\u2019t see that one coming.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Discovex Resources (ASX:DCX)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Carnaby Resources (ASX:CNB)<\/a>\u00a0\u2018Greater Duchess\u2019 JV announced a \u201cstunning drill result\u201d of 68m at 2.4% copper and 0.4g\/t gold from 40m.<\/p>\n

CNB says wide, high grade and very shallow copper gold mineralisation at the Lady Fanny prospect now been intersected over a core zone of over 300m strike length which remains strongly open.<\/p>\n

EMU (ASX:EMU)<\/a> was up very nicely after non exec director Tim Staermose picked up $14,000 worth of shares on market.<\/p>\n

Tim is an ex-broker and stock picker, notably having worked at Lehman Bros in the early 2000s before it went to poo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The WA explorer has four main projects: \u2018Badja\u2019 (gold, tungsten), \u2018Graceland\u2019 (nickel, copper, PGEs), Viper (nickel, copper), and \u2018Sunfire\u2019 (nickel, copper).<\/p>\n

Seafarms Group (ASX:SFG) <\/a>\u00a0recouped some of Friday\u2019s bleeding as the battle for its future intensifies now that the \u2018SeaDragon\u2019 aquaculture project is under a mighty cloud.<\/p>\n

Todd River Resources (ASX:TRT) <\/a>is also trading sharply higher on no news. TRT has a handful of projects, the most interesting right now being its copper-nickel-PGE ground near Chalice Mining\u2019s (ASX:CHN) Julimar called \u2018Berkshire Valley\u2019.<\/p>\n

Early drill results have been mixed so far, but TRT reckons there is something big lurking. A bunch of drilling results are expected within the next month.<\/p>\n
