{"id":11566,"date":"2024-06-27T04:27:22","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T04:27:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=11566"},"modified":"2024-06-27T04:27:22","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T04:27:22","slug":"ovantis-isentric-inks-malaysian-bank-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=11566","title":{"rendered":"Ovanti\u2019s iSentric inks Malaysian bank deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ovanti subsidiary iSentric signs contracts with top three commercial Malaysian bank, worth ~$4.8million annually<br \/>\niSentric to manage bank\u2019s digital communications across multiple channels<br \/>\nLatest contracts expand iSentric\u2019s relationships to five of Malaysia\u2019s top 10 banks<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fintech and digital solutions commerce solutions provider Ovanti has announced its wholly-owned subsidiary iSentric has inked major omni channel development contracts with a top three commercial bank in Malaysia, forecast to be worth ~$4.8m annually. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/ovanti-ovt\/\"><strong>Ovanti (ASX:OVT) <\/strong><\/a>says its wholly-owned subsidiary iSentric has entered significant new contracts to provide omni channel communications for CIMB Bank Berhad, one of the three largest commercial banks by assets operating in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>OVT says the bank operates consumer banking services across multiple markets including Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>The company says iSentric will manage the CIMB\u2019s digital communications across multiple channels including SMS, WhatsApp, social media, and In App which are all underpinned by iSentric\u2019s advanced platform capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>iSenteic internally forecast the combined value of these contracts to be worth approximately AUD $4.8 million annually over the next three years.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Preferred partner for leading financial services\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>OVT provides fintech and digital commerce solutions, enabling secure authentication and transaction processing for institutional clients.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s core technology platform connects large customer bases with end users through any mobile device, seamlessly integrating mobile technology into existing business operations.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s divisions include mobile banking and digital payments, catering to major Malaysian banks and telecom companies in Malaysia and Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The latest contracts expand iSentric\u2019s relationships to five of Malaysia\u2019s top 10 banks.<\/p>\n<p>iSentric also has contracts with Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat and BSN Bank, underscoring its role in supporting the evolving digital needs of banking services.<\/p>\n<p>OVT says the latest contracts reinforce iSentric\u2019s position as a preferred partner for leading financial institutions investing in digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>OVT Group chairman David Halliday says the new contracts reflect the enduring strength of its long-term partnerships within the commercial banking sector in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a testament to the faith the major commercial banks have in iSentric as a long-term trusted technology partner now and well into the future,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact iSentric in this space represents significant banking institutions in Malaysia exemplifies iSentric\u2019s position as the market leader and innovator in this sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is significant that iSentric, in addition to the traditional SMS offering, has shown it is able to pivot towards the future with our new customer, backing iSentric\u2019s offerings across new emerging technologies such as WhatsApp and social media.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This article was developed in collaboration with Ovanti, a Stockhead advertiser at the time of publishing. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This article does not constitute financial product advice.
