{"id":1134,"date":"2023-11-06T21:42:05","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T21:42:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=1134"},"modified":"2023-11-06T21:42:05","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T21:42:05","slug":"bubalus-resources-locks-in-highly-prospective-yinnietharra-lithium-tenements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=1134","title":{"rendered":"Bubalus Resources locks in highly prospective Yinnietharra lithium tenements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bubalus Resources completes acquisition of the Yinnietharra lithium tenements in the Gascoyne region<br \/>\nProject in same \u201cGoldilocks Zone\u201d near the Thirty Three Supersuite granite contact as Delta Lithium\u2019s Malinda prospect<br \/>\nExploration already underway with mapping and rock chip sampling to identify size and scale of outcropping pegmatites<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em> Bubalus Resources has completed the acquisition of tenements prospective for lithium mineralisation at its Yinnietharra project in WA\u2019s Gascoyne region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yinnietharra is just 2km east of Delta Lithium\u2019s (ASX:DLI) Malinda prospect where drilling has identified spodumene-hosted lithium mineralisation over 1.6km of strike and to a depth of 350m.<\/p>\n<p>While no drilling has been undertaken on Yinnietharra, spodumene-bearing pegmatites have been identified by Delta in an east-west orientation and trending towards the boundary of <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/bubalus-resources-bus\/\"><strong>Bubalus Resources\u2019 (ASX:BUS)<\/strong><\/a> project.<\/p>\n<p>This makes for a no-brainer in deciding where to focus the company\u2019s initial exploration activities.<\/p>\n<p>Yinnietharra is also less than 3km from the contact with the Thirty Three Supersuite, a series of granitic bodies believed to be the source for lithium mineralisation in the Yinnietharra area.<\/p>\n<p>Illustrating this, mineralisation at Malinda is hosted in six pegmatite dykes that dip to the south towards the Thirty Three Supersuite\u00a0<em>and\u00a0<\/em>Bubalus\u2019 project.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sewing up ground<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Location of the Yinnietharra project. Pic: Supplied (BUS).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BUS has now completed the acquisition of the tenements with the issue of 2.35 million shares and a cash payment of $75,000 to the vendor Hardy Metals as reimbursement for past expenditure incurred.<\/p>\n<p>The company is already carrying out field activities with mapping and rock chip sampling underway to identify the size and scale of outcropping pegmatites within the project boundary to identify further targets for drill testing.<\/p>\n<p>It will also undertake surface sampling in away from outcrop to detect areas where pegmatites might be present under cover.<\/p>\n<p>In parallel, a geophysical and spectral review will be undertaken by exploration geophysical consultants Terra Resources to identify targets that will be followed up by ground truthing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>This article was developed in collaboration with Bubalus Resources, a Stockhead advertiser at the time of publishing. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This article does not constitute financial product advice.
