{"id":10584,"date":"2024-06-05T19:40:15","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T19:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=10584"},"modified":"2024-06-05T19:40:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T19:40:15","slug":"investors-bet-big-on-many-peaks-gold-prospects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=10584","title":{"rendered":"Investors bet big on Many Peaks\u2019 gold prospects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many Peaks Minerals raises $5.2m through strongly supported private placement<br \/>\nProceeds will accelerate exploration at the Odienn\u00e9 and Ferk\u00e9 gold projects in Cote d\u2019Ivoire<br \/>\nDrilling is already underway at Odienn\u00e9 to test 26km of gold anomalies<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report:<\/em><\/strong><strong> Investors have demonstrated their confidence in Many Peaks Minerals and its plans to accelerate exploration at its promising Odienn\u00e9 and Ferk\u00e9 gold projects in northwest C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire by backing a $5.2m private placement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/many-peaks-minerals-mpk\/\"><strong>Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK)<\/strong><\/a> secured the right to earn up to 85% in the Ferk\u00e9, Oum\u00e9 and Odienn\u00e9 projects from <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/turaco-gold-tcg\/\"><strong>Turaco Gold (ASX:TCG)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/predictive-discovery-pdi\/\"><strong>Predictive Discovery (ASX:PDI)<\/strong><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/diamond-drilling-to-begin-across-many-peaks-new-cote-divoire-gold-projects\/\"><strong>less than a month ago<\/strong><\/a> by agreeing to sole-fund exploration to the feasibility study stage.<\/p>\n<p>The projects cover a 1275km2 area and are adjacent to some of West Africa\u2019s biggest gold deposits.<\/p>\n<p>Odienn\u00e9 comprises two granted exploration permits covering 758km and is directly north of Centamin\u2019s 2.2Moz ABC project.<\/p>\n<p>It is also contiguous with the Awal\u00e9-Newmont joint venture ground along trend to the south, where Awal\u00e9 as operator is demonstrating Odienn\u00e9 is an emerging copper-gold district with its recent BBM and Charger prospect discoveries.<\/p>\n<p>Ferk\u00e9 sits on the Burkina Faso border, not far from Barrick\u2019s 4.5Moz Tongon and Lillium\u2019s 3.2Moz Wahgnion gold projects.<\/p>\n<p>Since executing the farm-in agreement, MPK has hit the ground running, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/many-peaks-minerals-is-drilling-for-discovery-at-its-odienne-gold-project\/\"><strong>launching a 6500m reconnaissance drilling campaign<\/strong><\/a> just a little more than a week ago to test across an aggregate 26km extent of gold anomalism on two sub-parallel structural trends at Odienn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Accelerating exploration<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Institutional and professional investors haver made firm commitments for a two tranche placement of 23.6 million shares priced at 22c each to raise $5.2m.<\/p>\n<p>Further highlighting their interest, the placement is priced at a discount of just 1% to the company\u2019s 15-day volume weighted average price through the close of trading on 3 June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Applications also had to be scaled back due to the strong support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m now on route back to site after a short stint back in Australia.
