{"id":10432,"date":"2024-06-03T04:31:15","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T04:31:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=10432"},"modified":"2024-06-03T04:31:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-03T04:31:15","slug":"brightstars-plus-30000m-drilling-blitz-enters-phase-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economicherald.net\/?p=10432","title":{"rendered":"Brightstar\u2019s plus-30,000m drilling blitz enters Phase 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last batch of assays from Brightstar Resources\u2019 Link Zone at the Menzies Gold Project return up to 29g\/t gold<br \/>\n52 holes complete at Lady Shenton, with assays pending<br \/>\nRC rig has moved to Second Fortune mine near Laverton to prepare for deep diamond drilling<br \/>\nData to incorporate into upcoming resource upgrade<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Special Report<\/em><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong><strong>Drill assays from Brightstar\u2019s Menzies Gold Project return shallow, high grade gold up to 29.1g\/t as a massive &gt;30,000m drilling campaign continues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The giant drill campaign is being funded by a $6.5m cash injection from small-scale <a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/resources\/with-gold-punching-above-3300-oz-brightstars-selkirk-is-reaping-the-rewards-of-all-time-high-prices\/\"><strong>gold production via its Selkirk JV<\/strong><\/a> with BML Ventures and the recent placement to strategic investors including St Barbara Ltd (ASX: SBM) and institutions such as Collins Street Asset Management and Lion Selection Group (ASX: LSX) which raised $12m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockhead.com.au\/company\/brightstar-resources-btr\/\"><strong>Brightstar Resources\u2019 (ASX:BTR)<\/strong><\/a> &gt;30,000m drilling is targeting resource growth and higher confidence category ounces at its 1.45Moz gold portfolio in WA ahead of project feasibility work.<\/p>\n<p>Drilling is also going on at the Linden Gold Alliance assets which BTR is acquiring, including the operating Second Fortune mine and the 293,000oz Jasper Hills project.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>RC drilling from Link Zone<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Remaining assays received from RC drilling have been completed at the Link Zone at Menzies.<\/p>\n<p>Results have produced several shallow high-grade intercepts, confirming mineralisation within targeted $3,000\/oz gold optimised pit shells at shallow depths across the Westralian Menzies, Merriyulah and Golden Dicks deposits.<\/p>\n<p>Intercepts include:<\/p>\n<p>9m @ 4.4 g\/t Au from 18m, including 1m @ 29.1 g\/t Au from 18m at hole LZRC24029<br \/>\n18m @ 1.2 g\/t Au from 4m at hole LZRC24011<br \/>\n1m @ 20.2 g\/t Au from 16m at hole LZRC24016<br \/>\n9m @ 1.75 g\/t Au from 23m at hole LZRC24013<\/p>\n<p>Geotechnical and metallurgical diamond drill program at Link Zone is now in progress.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Menzies project.
